Male Stud Bonding Fasteners (M1)
The M1 Stud Plate (stud mounts) is a male threaded bolt stud on a perforated baseplate.
Bonding fasteners provide a no-drill fastening option while distributing load across the baseplate. Bonding fasteners can be embedded during the molding process or adhesively mounted to virtually any substrate.
M1 Stud Plates are available in various material types, thread types, stud lengths and baseplate sizes. Coating, plating, or other finishing options can be added to meet specific salt spray or appearance requirements.
For increased tensile and sheer strength, M1 bonding fasteners (adhesive bond studs) can be Reverse Welded by placing the flange of the stud underneath the baseplate. The baseplate then provides an additional resistance force.
Each M1 stud mount has a custom turned stud with a cold forged head. Projections are stamped into the baseplate and attached to the stud by Resistance Projection Welding, a process utilizing force and electricity to create efficient, strong welds. When molded in, material will flow though the perforations creating greater torque resistance. When bonded on, adhesive flows through the perforations to encapsulate the baseplate.
