Female Nut Bonding Fasteners (F1)

The F1 Bonding Fastener is a female hex nut mounted on a perforated baseplate.

Bonding fasteners provide a no-drill fastening option with load distributed across the baseplate. Bonding fasteners can be embedded during the molding process or adhesive mounted to virtually any substrate.
 
F1 female nut plates are available in various material types, thread types and baseplate sizes. Coating, plating, or other finishing options can be added to meet specific salt spray or appearance requirements.
 
Each F1 has a hex nut welded to baseplate. Projections are stamped into the baseplate and the hex nut is attached by Resistance Projection Welding, a process utilizing force and electricity to create efficient, strong welds. When molded in, material will flow though the perforations creating greater torque resistance. When bonded on, adhesive flows through the perforations to encapsulate the baseplate.
