Female Collar Bonding Fastener (F2)
The F2 Bonding Fastener Standoffs is a female threaded collar mounted on a perforated baseplate.
F2 female collars (standoff, sealed, or sleeved nutplates) provide a no-drill fastening option while distributing load across the baseplate. Bonding fasteners can be embedded during the molding process or adhesively mounted to virtually any substrate.
F2 Bonding Fasteners (nutplate mounts) are available in various material types, thread types, stud lengths and baseplate sizes. Coating, plating, or other finishing options can be added to meet specific salt spray or appearance requirements.
For increased tensile and sheer strength, F2 bonding fasteners can be Reverse Welded by placing the flange of the stud underneath the baseplate. The baseplate then provides an additional resistance force.
